Rick ordered a 2022 Center-hole Octave mandolin with a Cedar top. Among the many features and upgrades, he also asked for a simple purfling around the sound hole, a volute on the neck, an Ebony fingerboard with mother-of-pearl placement markers. He later on switched the knobs to black.
