2023 Mandola:

A Perfect Blend of Aesthetics and Sound Quality

This instrument is smaller than all the other models and produces a very sweet and warm tone. The sizes of this instrument were taken after mandolas made by the Italian luthier Antonio Luigi Embergher

Design, Aesthetics, and Playability

This Mandola model features an aesthetic design with a pearl set rosette and black walnut binding, providing a touch of elegance to the overall appearance of the instrument. The black walnut armrest adds comfort and allows for extended playing sessions. The traditional French polish finish (rubbed shellac) while not as shiny as a modern finish, provides the best acoustic and enhances the natural beauty of the wood. The relatively short scale length of 16 inches (406mm) makes playing the Mandola easier, while the 0 fret nut and 29mm nut add to the low action at the 12th fret further enhancing the playability of this instrument.

Each Mandola is handmade with traditional and modern design techniques to ensure that every instrument is unique and expertly crafted. I work on each instrument separately, from start to finish to produce an instrument that meets the individual needs and preferences of the musician.
